I’ve previously posted videos about the Leixen VV-898 Backpack radios, and in that video I tested a 10-watt version. Today we bench test the Leixen VV-898S 25-watt version of the stand-alone radio. The stand-alone and backpack versions are the exact same radio, the only difference is that the backpack comes in its own case with a battery, fan and switch. It is self-inclusive to drop into a backpack and go hiking with. Really neat concept.
So take a look at the power tests of the 25-watt version of the Leixen, dubbed the VV-898S, the “S” on the end means the higher power version. Leixen makes a great little radio, the tests were very positive.
