Finally one of the “Big 4” manufacturers is making a DMR Radio for Amateur Use. Alinco has done a good job of taking a radio and adding to it what Hams have been asking for. I think this radio is probably one of the top Dual Band DMR HTs I have used, to date.

Does the DJ-MD5 support Talker Alias
I didn’t try. I just loaded the contact list into the radio.
do you have a simple video that shows one how to program the alinco dj-md5 from the start? I am brand new to HAM and trying to set up my first radio…I am running into all sorts of issues and need some guidance on how to do this
Not specifically that radio, but the codeplug video for the Anytone is nearly the same steps as the Alinco
