FCC Element 2 Technician Amateur Radio License Class
Today we watch a new class given by the Hurst Amateur Radio Club in April of 2016 for the FCC Element 2 Technician Amateur Radio License. This is a 3-night class, broken up into 3 videos, with each video being 1-3 hours long.
This class follows the W5YI Element 2 Technician Book. You can pickup that book from my website, or from Amazon, or various other places.
The Hurst Club gives these technician classes about twice a year. Their next class will be around September of 2016. Check this link for more information on the Element 2 Technician Class. They also offer an Element 3 General Class, for those who are ready to upgrade to the next license. The next class will be in May of 2016. Check this link to register for the Element 3 General Class.
Several other clubs around the DFW area also offer license classes, including but not limited to:
- K5BED – Bedford Amateur Radio Club
- N5EOC – Northeast Tarrant Amateur Radio Club (NETARC)
- NRH Amateur Radio Club – North Richland Hills Amateur Radio Club
- W5NGU – Denton Area Amateur Radio Club (DCARA)
- WA5JRS – Mansfield – Johnson County Amateur Radio Service
