Let’s take a look at the new 10-watt HT from TYT called the TYT TH-UV8000D. Much like the Baofeng UV-82HP, it boasts a higher output per band than the standard 5-watt HT that has existed for so long. Watch me test this radio on a meter and see the results.

Jason. This is a tri-band radio. Go to setting with chirp and you can open up the 220 band. It works great!
I no longer have this radio, but I would like to try that. However, this video is about 4 years old, so I am pretty sure this unit I had was not triband at the time.
